Located on the quiet edge of downtown Cheyenne's historic district, the Nagle Warren Mansion B&B has fully restored every room in the house to recreate the elegance of the Cattle Baron period in the Victorian West. From the ornate wooden staircases and the authentic period wallpaper to the antique furniture and nineteenth century-style artwork, a feeling of stepping into the days of artist Charles Russell and writer Owen Wister is maintained throughout the mansion. In 1888, entrepreneur Erasmus Nagle built the stone Nagle Warren Mansion B&B as a show place, at a time when Cheyenne was the wealthiest city of its size in the world. It became the home of Senator Francis E. Warren in 1910 who entertained the likes of Presidents Teddy Roosevelt and William Taft. This AAA 4 Diamond award winning mansion has been fully restored to its original glory including beautiful brass and bronze fireplaces; cherry, mahogany, and oak woodwork; and stained glass windows; and yet includes every thing that today's travelers want. The inn's ornate grand staircase leads to six delightful guest room accomadation with six more charming rooms in the carriage house, all beautifully decorated with four poster beds, marble-topped dresser and washstand, and mirrored armoires and fainting couches. **Breakfast**
A full breakfast is served to guests each morning and varies depending on the availability of fresh local ingredients, including what’s in season and growing in the back yard garden. The morning meal begins with coffee or tea, followed by juice, fresh fruit and a breakfast entrée. The menu, while modern and healthy, reflects a ranch influence from Nagle's five ranches and Senator Warren's nineteen ranches.
**Afternoon Tea**
The Nagle Warren Mansion also serves classic Afternoon Tea, a tradition brought to the region when Europe’s landed gentry settled in the area and established what has become Wyoming’s ranching heritage. Afternoon Tea at the Nagle Warren is a fun affair that includes scones, tarts, cakes, cookies, sandwiches and of course plenty of tea. Afternoon Tea is served weekly on Fridays and Saturdays, at 2:00 and 4:00 PM. Please call for reservations.
The Nagle Warren Mansion also hosts regularly occurring events such as Murder Mystery Dinners, Fine Wine & Dine Dinners, Third Thursday Therapy- Wine & Whine, and Romantic Candle Light Dinners for Two. The Nagle Warren Mansion can accommodate lunches, dinners, receptions, weddings and gatherings of all varieties.
