Perched at the corner of Main and Ash in the town of Three Forks, Montana, the Sacajawea Hotel is a haven for travelers and locals alike. In her heyday during the early part of the twentieth century, she ruled the roads and railways, giving weary travelers a taste of refinery not typically found in the Old West. Now, she once again takes her rightful place as a hotel of distinction located in the heart of Montana, a state known as “The Last Best Place.” The Sacajawea Hotel was founded in 1910 by J.Q. Adams, a purchasing agent for the Milwaukee Railroad, to serve its passengers and crew. In the teens and twenties, Three Forks was the stopping point for touring Yellowstone National Park. Over the years, the historic Hotel has undergone several face-lifts, the most significant of which occurred during 2009-2010, just prior to the hotel’s 100th Anniversary. Great care was taken throughout the renovation process to preserve the character of the building, blending luxury and Western flare.

**Pompey’s Grill and Sacajawea Bar**
Named after Sacajawea’s son, Pompey’s Grill offers diners a sophisticated spot to relax and enjoy an expertly prepared meal. The Three Forks, Montana restaurant is famous for its certified all-natural Angus beef steaks that are hand-cut by the executive chef who then skillfully fires them hot on a wood smoke grill. The extensive wine list that includes varietals from around the world provides many choices and the Grill’s staff is happy to assist with selecting the prefect vintage to complement a meal. The Sacajawea Bar is lively place to unwind with a favorite drink and enjoy convivial conversation and live music. Pompey’s Grill is open for dinner Wednesday through Sunday from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Reservations are recommended.
