The Izaak Walton Inn, a year-round hotel, resort and cross country ski area, is a historically unique facility complete with a full service restaurant, cozy lodging rooms in the Inn, six log cabins, and six cabin cabooses including a diesel locomotive that has been converted into a luxury suite. They have 33km of groomed cross-country trails in the winter and spring and are host to many Glacier National Park visitors in the summer and fall. The Izaak Walton Inn is able to accommodate large and small weddings, family reunions and other retreats that appreciate the beauty of the surroundings. We have endless hiking trails in the summer and endless cross-country & snowshoeing in the winter. **Dining Car Restaurant**
Originally built to house employees of the Great Northern Railway, the Izaak Walton Inn continues to charm visitors with its railroad memorabilia, history and unique accommodations near Glacier National Park. The Dining Car Restaurant features railroad and mountain décor and fine food. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily and many dishes and ingredients are indigenous to the area. Items include wild huckleberries, range-fed beef, high quality buffalo, Rocky Mountain elk, Rainbow trout as well as a varied selection of vegetarian choices.
