Day 7 Wyoming Mt Rushmore Yellowstone Tetons 14 day trip

Drive from Cody, Wyoming to Red Lodge, Montana Day 7 via Chief Joseph Scenic Highway and the Bear tooth Scenic Highway

Drive time: 1.5 Hours

Major Attractions: View from an overlook on Chief Joseph Highway

Beartooth Nature Center has live animals that cannot be returned to nature.

Summer: fishing, hiking, climbing, golfing, whitewater rafting, and horseback riding.

Winter: alpine and cross country skiing

Get a lazy start in the morning and finish seeing the Cody attractions, then hit the road for a pretty one and one half hour drive, mostly along the Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone River, to Red Lodge, Montana. Spend the rest of the day golfing, fishing, hiking, or visit the Beartooth Nature Center.

Directions: Take US 14A to the North edge of Cody, then Left on WY 120 to Belfry, Montana. Left on MT 308 to Red Lodge, Montana.  Note there is some very good fishing along the Clarks Fork.
