Today’s drive will take you across the Bighorn Mountains. Watch for deer, elk, eagles, and moose. You will cross the scenic Bighorn Mountains and the Bighorn Basin to Cody, Wyoming founded by Buffalo Bill Cody.
Directions: Leave Buffalo West on US 16 over the Bighorn Mountains to Worland, Wyoming, turn Right and go North on US 20 & 16 to Greybull, Left on US 20, US 16, and US 14 into Cody.
Ten Sleep Canyon is on the west side of the Bighorn Mountains and the road descends through a majestic multi-shaded Dolomite limestone canyon on its way to the small town of Ten Sleep.
Ten Sleep Fish Hatchery Learn about the inner workings of a fish hatchery by stopping between 8:00am to 5:00pm daily, 7 days a week. The Hatchery was first constructed in 1939, with an addition in 2003 that now is home to the Yellowstone cutthroat trout brood stock.

The Plains Indians Museum features one of the country's largest and finest collections of Plains Indian art and artifacts. Also visit the Cody Firearms Museum, the Draper Natural History Museum, the McCracken Research Library, and the Buffalo Bill Cody Museum.
